Linda Curran

 

 

Linda Curran, 73, of Naperville, IL passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 24, 2023. Linda was born on June 24, 1950, in New Philadelphia, OH, the daughter of Earl and Marie Orth.

 

Linda is survived by her husband, James Flinn; her brother, Alan (Emily) Orth; son, Joey (Erin) Flinn; daughter, Dana (Harrison) Flinn-Freeland; grandson, Hunter Flinn. Linda is preceded in death by her parents.

 

Linda completed her Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in chemical engineering at Ohio State University and her Masters of Business at the University of Chicago. Linda spent her professional career pursuing energy development and oil refinement efficiency until her retirement in 2009. In her free time, she enjoyed traveling, gardening, quilting, and most of all, spending time with her family. 

 

A burial for Linda will be held 11:00 am on Friday, October 20, 2023, at Dover Burial Park located at 5651 N. Wooster Ave., Ext, N.W., Dover, OH with Pastor Jason Rissler officiating. A celebration of Linda’s life will follow the burial service at the Toland-Herzig Monarch Center located at 831 Boulevard Street, Dover Ohio.
