Linda J. Lewis

Linda J. Lewis, 76, of Strasburg, passed away on Wednesday, October 30, 2019, at Aultman Hospital following a sudden illness.

Born on March 21, 1943, in Massillon, she was the daughter of the late Robert E. and Verna M. (Hartline) Lewis. She was also preceded in death by her infant brother and sister, Denny and Barb Lewis; sister, Anna Jean Goodman; brother, Robert Lewis; and sister-in-law, Patricia Lewis.

Linda graduated from Dover High School with the class of 1962. She resided in Columbus for over 30 years, where she retired from AAA Insurance Company. She was a longtime member of the First Lutheran Church in Strasburg where she was a member of the Widow’s Club.

She will be sadly missed by her brother; Howard Lewis of Strasburg; sister, Mary (Tom) Thurn of Sagamore Hills; brother-in-law, Dwight Goodman of North Canton; along with several nieces and nephews.

In honoring Linda’s wishes, cremation has been entrusted to the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory in Strasburg. A memorial service will be held at Lakeview Baptist Church, 10202 State Route 93 NW, Dundee, Ohio 44624, on Saturday, November 9, 2019 at 12:00 pm with Pastor David Henry officiating. Friends can gather from 11:30 until the service begins at 12. Immediately following the service, a meal will be served in the church social hall.
