Linda K. Froman

“Only One Life, Twill Soon be Past, Only What’s done for Christ will Last.” Linda K. Froman, 72, of Bolivar passed away on Sunday, January 10, 2021. She was a devoted mother, wife, grandmother, friend and Christian. She was a dedicated member of Fellowship Baptist Church and poured her heart into the Ladies Sewing Ministry; making hundreds of pillowcase dresses for the mission.

She was born on January 27, 1948 in Dennison to the late Alva Sr. and Chestina Lauver Greenwood. Linda was also preceded in death by her husband, Maurice J. Froman on June 29, 2017; brothers, Frank Benjamin, Jackie Lee, Dale Richard, Alva Jr., Earl and Lewis “Butch” Greenwood; sisters, Eleanor Malterer and Mary Lou Shaw.

Linda was part of the first class to graduate from Claymont High School in 1966; and she also graduated from the Twin City Beauty College.

Linda is survived by her children, Susie Gordon of Bolivar, John (Lindsay) Froman of Oregon, Jason (Kristy) Froman of New Philadelphia; brothers, Larry (Marge) Greenwood, Donald (Shirley) Greenwood; sisters, Winifred Gibbens, Melva Jane (Austin) Beckly; grandchildren, Tristan, Miriam, Landon, Chelsa, Chase, Chantz; niece, Barbara J. Gardener along with a host of other nieces, nephews, and dear precious friends.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, January 16 starting at 10:00 am in the Grandview Union Cemetery at Strasburg with Pastor Timothy Brown officiating. Masks and social distancing will be required. The Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at Strasburg is handling arrangements.
