Linda L. Mitchell

Linda L. Mitchell, 44, of 449 Weber Ave. SW, Strasburg died Tuesday, March 7, 2000 at Aultman Hospital at Canton. She was the Head Teacher for United Day Care at Dover. February 8, 1956 at Dover, she was the daughter of Pat (Lawless) Wallick-Jeansonne and step-father, Dan Jeansonne of Dover and the late Tom Wallick. Linda received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Kent State University. She was actively involved with the Little Theater of Tuscarawas County - on stage, back stage, and served on its Board of Directors. She had been involved in the former Strasburg dramatic club and had also formerly been affiliated with Trinity Episcopal Church of New Philadelphia. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Mark Mitchell, who she wed on October 21, 1978. Other survivors include: A son Michael Mitchell of the home Sister Mrs. Charles A. (Laurie) Brown of Dover Step brother Cary & Carolyn Jeansonne of Akron Grandmother Mrs. Erdine Wallick of Dover Several nieces and nephews, in addition to many other loving relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Sunday, March 12 at 4:00pm in Toland-Herzig Funeral Home at Dover with Dwight Newton officiating. Cremation will follow services. Friends may call in the funeral home on Sunday from 1-4pm.
