Linda L. Tice

Linda L. Tice, 67, of Hennis Care Centre, Dover, and a former resident of Strawberry Ln. N.W., New Philadelphia, died Wednesday, Dec. 6, 2006, in Union Hospital, Dover.

Born Sept. 27, 1939, in Dover, she was a daughter of Joe Tidrick of Tippecanoe, and the late Elsie Gordon Tidrick. Linda was a homemaker who was well-known for her kind and loving heart, and for her fondness of cats.

In addition to her father, survivors include four children, Daniel (Cindy) Tice, Jr., Douglas (Anita) Tice, Sr., Dianne (John) Liagris and Derrick (Lou Ann) Tice; her beloved cat, Suki Wu; five grandchildren, Douglas (Shari) Tice, Jr., Kim Ritchie, Julie (Chris) Brake, Stephanie (Chad) Witham and Ashley (Mike) Liagris; two step-grandchildren, Mitch and Trevor Hidey; six great-grandchildren, Tia Ritchie, Matthew Ritchie, Tina Brake, Cameron Hidey, Brandon Witham and Caden Witham; three step-great-grandchildren, Shawna, Cody and Mitch Towles; one brothers, Timothy Tidrick.

Besides her mother, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Tina Tice; a brother, Darrell Gordon; and her fiancé, Donald Walker.

A graveside service will be held Friday, Dec. 15, at 3 p.m., in Dover Burial Park, with Pastor Archie Jackson officiating.
