Loretta Mae Ensley Graham Zito

Loretta Mae Ensley Graham Zito, 77, of New Philadelphia died Friday, February 28, 2014 in the Community Hospice House following a period of declining health due to cancer.

Born July 26, 1936 in Morristown, Ohio she was a daughter of the late Herman and Luella Albus Ensley. Loretta was also preceded in death by her nephew, Steven Ensley.

She was a 1956 graduate of New Philadelphia High School and was a member of the Emmanuel Lutheran Church at New Philadelphia. In her earlier years, she could often be found in the Roller Rink at Tuscora Park, camping, fishing, going to Tall Timbers and Atwood Lake. She was an excellent swimmer and loved animals. In her later years, she enjoyed traveling and casino trips with the highlight being her trip to Las Vegas.

Loretta retired from US Ceramic in 1998, where she had been employed for 43 years.

She thoroughly enjoyed her family that consisted of her daughter, Connie Kandel and companion, Jerry Seibert of Strasburg; son, Ronnie Graham of New Philadelphia; brother, Kenneth (Beverly) Ensley; sisters, Dorothy (Larry) Wilson, Augusta (Kenneth) VanSickle and Ida Barlock. Surviving nieces and nephews who thought Aunt Loretta was a, "very cool aunt" include Dale Wilson, Shelly Cheng; Bob, John, Tony "Rusty" Korns, Mary Yonally; Aaron, Christopher and LuHelen Ensley and Bill Ellwood; 21 great nieces and nephews and one very special great-great nephew, Kenny.

In keeping with Loretta's wishes, cremation has been entrusted to the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at Dover. There are no public calling hours or services. Memorial contributions may be made to Emmanuel Lutheran Church or to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
