Lori Ann Fickes

Lori Ann Fickes, age 37, of Dennison, passed away Monday, April 23, 2018, in her home.

Born November 25, 1980, in Massillon, she was the daughter of the late James G. and Betty L. Kendle Fickes. Lori attended Starlight School in New Philadelphia. She enjoyed music and being sung to, lights - especially at Christmas, and the love and attention of her family, friends and caregivers.

Survivors include her birth mother, with whom she lived and who cared for her, Amber Doughty; her sister, Ashley Jones of Dennison; her brothers, Ryan Fickes of Dover, and Jason Fickes of Port Washington; her nephews, Zailor and Furber Jones; and her very special caregiver, Donna Fowler.

Besides her parents, Lori was preceded in death by her grandparents, Gary and Geraldine Jones, Glenn and Ono Fickes, and Norman and Margaret Kendle; and her cousin, Cory Cox.

A funeral service will be held Thursday, April 26, at 1:30 p.m., in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory, Dover, with Hospice Chaplain Bill Eckert officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Burial Park, New Philadelphia. Family and friends are invited to call Thursday, 12:30 - 1:30 p.m. in the funeral home.
