Lori M. Garber, 63, of Strasburg passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at Mercy Medical Center.
Born on June 12, 1958 in Massillon she was the daughter of the late Paul and Edna Smith Lab. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Jeff Lab. Lori is survived by her husband of 47 years, Rich Garber, whom she married on June 22, 1974; daughters, Belinda (Matt) Lancaster of Gnadenhutten, Talia Williams of Florida; brother, Ron (Marianne) Lab of New Philadelphia; grandchildren, JD, Cole, Macy Lancaster; Case, Reese, Addi St. Clair; and her former son in law, Eric St. Clair of Gnadenhutten.
Lori was an avid sports fan who loved watching the Browns and following her grandchildren to all of their sporting events; every grandchild knew when Grammy was in the stands. She and Rich enjoyed their time spent together, especially riding the Harley, spending time with family or traveling to Vegas a few times a year, they were inseparable. Lori also had a close bond with her Strasburg High School friends from the class of 1976, they could always be found doing things together. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church at Dover.
A service celebrating Lori’s life will be held on Tuesday, January 4th starting at 11:00 am in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at Strasburg with Deacon Lynn Houze officiating. Interment will be in the St. Aloysius Catholic Cemetery at Strasburg. The family will be greeting friends on Monday at the Strasburg Funeral Home from 1-3 pm and 5-7 pm, and they want you to wear your favorite Cleveland Brown’s gear or casual clothing.
