Louise A. Littleton, 87, of Strasburg died Saturday, March 24, 2007 at the Hennis Care Centre in Bolivar.
Born September 27, 1919 in Dover she was a daughter of the late Elmer and Edna Newton Rinehart. Louise was also preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Littleton who died on January 10, 2003.
Louise was a homemaker and had also worked at Shenango Penn Mold in Dover and helped Melvin run several family businesses throughout the area.
She was a 1937 graduate of Dover High School and attended Canton Actual Business School. Louise was a member of Strasburg United Methodist Church and the NKW Card Club. In addition to playing cards she also enjoyed reading, being outdoors, taking care of her flowers and staying in touch with her Winfield friends.
A loving mother and grandmother, Louise will be sadly missed by her daughter, Suzanne (Tom) Parker of Bolivar; son, Tom (Jan) Littleton of Los Alamos, New Mexico; three sisters, Charlotte Graves of Dover, Grace Keppler of New Philadelphia and Judy (Bill) Boose of New Philadelphia; four grandchildren, Stacey (Chris) Fallot, Clay Parker, Seth (Becky) Littleton and Shane Littleton; five great grandchildren, Hanna, Amy, Mia, Mason and Jackson.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 28, 2007 at 11:00 am in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Homes and Crematory at Strasburg with Rev. Steve Court officiating. Interment will be in the Grandview Union Cemetery at Strasburg. Friends can call in the funeral home on Tuesday from 6-8 pm.
