Louise C. ''Nee Nee'' Luciani

Louise C. “Nee Nee” Luciani, 86, of Dover died Monday, February 25, 2002 at her home following a two-month battle with cancer.

She had worked at the Scio Pottery Restaurant.

Born May 22, 1915 in Roswell she was a daughter of the late Giovanni and Angelina Contini Campo.

She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Senior Citizens, Dover VFW, Moose and the Hinges and Twinges at the YMCA. She enjoyed dancing, cooking and traveling.

Louise was a kind and loving individual who gave of herself to all that knew her. She will be greatly missed, not only by her family, but by her many friends.

Her husband Arthur A. “Tony” Luciani who died on July 24, 1975 preceded Louise in death.

She is survived by many nieces and nephews including Tammy (Rick) Patacca of Dover who had been her caretaker and best friend for over 25 years.

She was also preceded in death by three brothers: Angelo, Louis and Floyd Campo.

One sister: Mary Reese.

A funeral mass will be held on Friday, March 1, 2002 at 11:00 am in the St. Joseph Catholic Church with Monsignor Lawrence Luciana officiating. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery in Dover. Following the burial a reception will be held at the Toland-Herzig Monarch Center. Friends can call at the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home in Dover on Thursday from 6-9 pm with Christian wake services starting at 8:30.
