Louise Wyatt

Louise Wyatt, age 98, of Park Village Health Care Center, Dover, and a long-time resident of New Philadelphia, passed away Monday, November 26, 2018.

Born July 1, 1920, in Pine Grove, Wetzel County, West Virginia, she was a daughter of the late William Sr. and Roberta Williams Willey. Louise attended high school in Wetzel County, and, on October 1, 1943, married Harry G. Wyatt. The couple reared three children and shared nearly forty-seven years of marriage prior to Harry’s passing on July 7, 1990. Louise, Harry and their young family moved to New Philadelphia in 1963. She was a loving homemaker who also managed New Philadelphia’s Pines Mobile Estates for thirty years.

Louise was a member of the First Baptist Church, New Philadelphia, and the Super Sixties group. She especially enjoyed cooking and flower gardening.

Survivors include her daughter, Linda (Kenny) Miller of Fort Worth, Texas; her sons, Richard (Jackie) and Ronald (Debbie) Wyatt, both of New Philadelphia; her five grandchildren; her eight great-grandchildren; her six great-great-grandchildren; and her nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, and her husband, Harry, Louise was preceded in death by her three sisters and three brothers.

Family and friends are invited to call at the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory, Dover, on Thursday, November 29, 5 - 7 p.m. A funeral service will be held Friday, November 30, at 1:30 p.m. in the funeral home with Pastor Don Snow, of Calvary Baptist Church, New Philadelphia, officiating. Burial will be in New Philadelphia’s Evergreen Burial Park. Following the committal, there will be a lunch in the Toland-Herzig Monarch Center on the Boulevard in Dover.
