Lucille A. Wallick

Lucille A. Wallick, 89, of Dover, died Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2007, in Park Village Health Care Center.

Born Jan. 29, 1918, in Coshocton, she was the daughter of the late F. Wilbur and Alice F. Eckleberry Wilde. Lucille moved with her family at a young age to Dover where her father was employed by Sam Reeves. She attended Dover schools and graduated from Dover High School as Salutatorian in 1936. Lucille was employed as a secretary for the Reeves Steel Co., and later, worked as a cook at the former Wooster Highway School.

Lucille married Donald O. Wallick on Sept. 4, 1937. Donald was an area musician who played in the Shively Eights Orchestra and the Wallick Band. It was a good match, as Lucille loved music and dancing. Donald passed away in 1984.

She was a member of St. John�(TM)s United Church of Christ in Dover, and the Penobscot Homemakers of Dover Township.

Survivors include two sons, Jerry (wife, Marge) Wallick of Supply, NC, and Ron (wife, Karen) Wallick of Dover; four grandchildren, Tim (wife, Terri) Wallick of Kettering, Christine (husband, Eric) Doheny of Kill Devil Hill, NC, Kerby (wife, Mary) Wallick of Grand Rapids, MI, and Meridy (husband, Scott) Sieloff of Canton; eight great-grandchildren, Amanda Wager, Christina Thoroman, Jacob (wife, Jessica) O�(TM)Connor, Matthew Wallick, Sarah Wallick, Andrew Wallick, Arianna Sieloff and Mason Sieloff; a great-great-grandson, Aden O�(TM)Connor.

Lucille�(TM)s life will be celebrated in a service Monday, Mar. 5, at 11 a.m., in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory, Dover, with Rev. Michael W. Lowry officiating. Burial will be in Dover Burial Park.
