M. Alberta Weber

M. Alberta Weber, 79, of Dover, Ohio died Wednesday, June 8, 2005 in her home.

She retired from Tusky Valley High School where she was a cook for 33 years. She had previously been a secretary for the Timken family in Canton for many years.

Born May 29, 1926 in Sandy Township, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Carolina R. Duerr Reed.

Alberta was a life member of the Zoar United Church of Christ. She was a graduate of Mineral City High School. She attended the Mineral City Senior Center and the Tuscarawas County Cooks organization.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Junior William Weber who died September 25, 1997.

She is survived by her son and daughter in law, Jerry and Margaret Weber of Navarre and two grandchildren, Heidi and Jennings. She is also survived by her brother, Raymond (Marie) Reed of Dover and a sister, Dorothy Dischinger of Zoar along with many cousins.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Adrian Reed and two sisters, Ethel and Helen Reed.

Funeral services will be held Monday, June 13, 2005 at 10:30 am in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory in Dover with Pastor Ken Hutchinson officiating. Interment will be in the Zoar Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 1-4 pm.
