Margaret A. Hanni

Margaret A. Hanni, 87, of Dover, Ohio passed away Tuesday, June 26, 2001 at Park Village Health Care Center following a battle with cancer.

Margaret was born June 25, 1914 in Dover. She was the oldest daughter of the late Russell and Edna Hisrich Keppler.

Margaret was a longtime active member of St. John�(TM)s United Church of Christ in Dover where she was a member of the Anna Circle, Womens Fellowship and assisted in the kitchen. She was Past Worthy Matron of the Tuscarawas Order of Eastern Star, Womens Literary Club,CCL, and was an avid bridge player and member of numerous card clubs.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur L. Hanni who died April 26, 1986.

She is survived by her son, David and her daughter in law Carey Hanni who reside in Medina along with her sisters, Anna Mae Keppler and Kathleen ''Kay'' (Paul) Scherer both of Dover.

One niece and nephew Margaret Ann Brunner and her husband Don Maurer of Dover and Skip and his wife, Kitty Scherer of North Canton and her extended family of great nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday at 11:00 am in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home at Dover with Rev. Steve Daniels officiating. Interment will be in the Dover Burial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home Friday from 6-8 pm.
