Marian A. Espenschied

Marian A. Espenschied, 88, of 102 Marlin Lane S.E., New Philadelphia, Ohio died Thursday, June 2, 2005 at Union Hospital following a brief illness.

Born September 21, 1916 in Uhrichsville, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Marion and Mary Hines Moore.

Marian was a member of the Emmanuel Lutheran Church in New Philadelphia. She enjoyed assembling jigsaw puzzles, cooking, and cake decorating. She also loved Nascar and baseball and was an avid Cleveland Indians fan.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard W. Espenschied who died December 2, 2000. She was also preceded by her son in law, George Smith and two sisters and a brother, Florence Huff, John Moore, and Ethel Moore.

Marian is survived by two daughters, Kay North and Sue Toth and her companion, Larry Fudge all of New Philadelphia and eight children from a previous marriage including, Judy Kirk of Maple Heights; twenty two grandchildren including Jeff (Jodie) Gibbs of New Philadelphia and Daphne (Robert) Ballard of Ft. Myers, Florida; twenty two great grandchildren including Trisha Gibbs, Chandler Davis, Mason Gibbs, and Keaton Gibbs; four great great grandchildren a brother, Bill Moore and a special niece, Sharon Doan.

A service celebrating Marian�(TM)s life will be held Saturday, June 4, 2005 at 11am in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory in Dover with Pastor Mike Walters officiating. At her request, cremation will take place. Friends will be received on Saturday from 10-11 am.
