Marilyn J. Monaco, 88, of Dover passed away peacefully on February 8, 2021 at Park Village Health Care Center in Dover.
Born in Dennison, Ohio on March 5, 1932, she was the daughter of the late George and Winifred (Brown) Bache. Marilyn was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Angelo Monaco on October 26, 2005. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Jeanne Kuperman, and brother, Perry Bache.
She leaves behind her children; Steve (Greg) Monaco of Highlands Ranch, CO, Mark (Lisa) Monaco of Gaithersburg, MD, and Lisa (Todd) Hallam of Hilliard, OH. Marilyn’s love of her family was reflected throughout her life and this enduring legacy will forever be remembered for the priceless gift she gave so freely.
Marilyn was a caring neighbor, dear friend to many, a loving and devoted wife, mother and aunt. Her sweet presence, infectious smile and kind spirit will be missed by all that have crossed her path. Her passion for her beloved sports teams, the Tornadoes, Buckeyes, Indians, Browns, and Cavs was second to none. Throughout her life, Marilyn was a proud member of the Dover Mother’s Club, a volunteer for the County Board of Elections, and the Tuscarawas County YMCA.
