Marilyn S. Croft

Marilyn S. Croft, age 77, of Seton Square, Dover, died Wednesday, October 29, 2013, in Amberwood Manor, New Philadelphia.

Born March 28, 1937, at Canton, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Louise (Pollock) Saffell. Marilyn graduated from New Athens High School; she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Marilyn was a member of the Union Hill United Methodist Church at Sugarcreek, and the Order of the Eastern Star at Flushing. She loved the cats that were part of her life over the years, and enjoyed playing bingo and working on word puzzles.

Survivors include her two daughters, Michelle (husband, Terry) Fox and Marianne (companion, Kevin Adkins) Nugo-Wright, both of Dover; her son, Wayne (wife, Juli) Croft of Mountain Home, Idaho; her seven grandchildren, Emily (husband, Matt) Altier, Kayleigh (husband, Cody) Habrum, Corey (wife, Mellissa) Wright, Michael Wright, Michael (wife, Danielle) Nugo, Taylor and Andy Croft; her seven great-grandchildren, Claire and Sophia Altier, Emmett Habrum, Jaxon Caine, Izaac Wright, Cade and Colson Nugo; her brother, Jerry Saffell of Troy; and her little cat, Puffin.

Besides her parents, Marilyn was preceded in death by her husband, Dallas Croft, in 1973; and her son, Matt Nugo;

Family and friends are invited to call at the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory, at Dover on Saturday, November 1, 9 11 a.m. A funeral service will follow at 11 officiated by Lisa Fisher. In keeping with her wishes, Marilyn will be cremated and her cremated remains buried later with her husband, Dallas, in Union Hill Cemetery.
