Marjorie A. Doney Skwara

Marjorie A. Doney Skwara, 90, of Strasburg died Saturday, February 1, 2014 in the Country Club Retirement Center at Dover.

Born July 1, 1923 in Dover she was a daughter of the late Emery and Sophie Yisha Kline. Marjorie was also preceded in death by her husbands, Clifford Doney in 1961, Bud Reese in 1969 and Walter Gibson in 2000 and her sister, Ellen "Pat" White.

Marjorie was a member of the Strasburg First United Methodist Church and enjoyed crocheting and painting.

A wonderful and loving wife, mother and grandmother Marjorie will be sadly missed by her husband, Richard Skwara; children, Dennis (Leslie) Doney of Dover, Jack (Patty) Doney of Dover, Stephen (Becky) Doney of Stone Creek, Joyce Sauerbrey of Thomasville, North Carolina, Tamra (Dennis) Clayton of Concord, North Carolina; sister, Loretta Brown of Sweethome, Oregon; 18 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and many great-great grandchildren.

Cremation has been entrusted to the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at Dover. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 8 at 1:00 pm in the Strasburg United Methodist Church with Rev. Lynda Masters officiating. Friends can call at the church one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
