Marjorie J. Freed, 92, of Dover died Tuesday, January 2, 2018 in the Community Hospice Truman House.
Born August 14, 1925 in Dover she was a daughter of the late Peter and Delphia Lantzer Lahm. Marjorie was also preceded in death by her husband, Cloyd “Leroy” Freed on February 23, 2001; brothers, Russell, Raymond and James Lahm.
A loving and giving mother and grandmother, Marjorie cherished taking care of her family and spending time with her grandchildren, they were the light of her life. She will be sadly missed by her sons, Larry (Linda) Freed of Atwood, Donald (Tammy) Freed of Dover, David Freed and his companion, Bonnie Fair of Uhrichsville, Randy Freed of Dover; sisters, Dorothy Welch of New Philadelphia, Shirley (Russell) Collar of Dover; six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 5 at 11:00 am in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at Dover with Rev. David Wing officiating. Interment will be at the Dover Burial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service on Friday.
