Marsha R. Kadri, 45, of 124 ½ North Ave. N.E., New Philadelphia, Ohio died Saturday, June 16, 2007 at Union Hospital following an unexpected illness.
She was a gifted caregiver and was a former employee of Horizons of Tuscarawas County.
Born August 24, 1961 in Dover, Ohio, she was the daughter of Mabel (Swonger) DeVault and the late Martin D. DeVault.
She graduated in Cosmetology from the Buckeye Career Center in 1979. She formerly attended the Dover Baptist Temple and enjoyed collecting bears and roosters.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James “JK” Kadri who died June 12, 2005. She was also preceded by her maternal grandparents, Clarence and Nellie Swonger and her paternal grandparents, Roy and Anna DeVault.
In addition to her mother, Marsha is survived by her brother, Michael (Danielle) DeVault of Uhrichsville and her sister, Marty DeVault and her companion, Jim Shoup of Dennison; four nieces, Mia and Marissa DeVault, Timberly Hardesty and Louella Shoup; her canine companion, Micah along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
A funeral service celebrating Marsha�(TM)s life will be held Thursday, June 20, 2007 at 1:30pm in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory in Dover with Pastor Kevin Anslow officiating. Interment will be in the Dover Burial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 5-8pm.
