Martha E. Heid

Martha E. Heid, 90, of Strasburg died Monday, November 12, 2007 at Park Village Health Care Center.

Born April 8, 1917 in Strasburg she was a daughter of the late Otto and Rosa Hoffman Heid.

She retired in 1979 from Kroger�(TM)s at Dover after 32 years of service.

She was a member of St. John United Church of Christ in Strasburg and the Strasburg AARP.

Martha will be sadly missed by her two sisters, Dorothy Steiner of Baltic and Gladys Dayton of Strasburg and her many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by three sisters, Alta Heid, Mary Swegheimer and Florence Heid.

In keeping with Martha�(TM)s wishes cremation has taken place. Memorial services will be held on Friday, November 16, 2007 at 1:00 pm in the St. John United Church of Christ at Strasburg with Rev. Gary Friend officiating. There are no calling hours. The Toland-Herzig Funeral Homes and Crematory at Strasburg are handling arrangements.
