Martha J. Grimm

Martha J. Grimm, 79, of Dover died Tuesday, February 26, 2008 at Park Village Health Care Center following an extended illness.

Born October 2, 1928 in Somerdale, Ohio she was a daughter of the late Richard and Rose Webb Plummer. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her daughter, Phyllis Taulbee; grandson, Dan Grimm; three brothers, John, Frank and Richard Plummer; four sisters, Rose Plummer, Frances Gamble, Alice Eash and Joyce Baum and her daughter in law, Amy Grimm.

She was a member of the Dover Eagles Auxiliary.

Martha is survived by her husband of 55 years, Dale W. Grimm whom she married on October 6, 1952. She is also survived by her three sons, Bruce (Kim) Grimm of South Carolina, Steven (Jane) Grimm of Dover and Tim Grimm of Dundee; daughter, Marla (Robert) Fisher of Dover; sister, Irene Mitchell of Arizona; 11 grandchildren and two great granddaughters.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 29, 2008 at 11:00 am in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Homes and Crematory at Dover with Rev. Dan Legg officiating. Interment will be at the Dover Burial Park. Friends can call at the funeral home on Thursday from 5-8 pm.
