Martha V. Roser

Martha V. Roser, 91, of Dover, died Thursday, July 24, 2003 in Union Hospital after a brief battle with heart problems.

Born November 4, 1911 at Midvale, she was the daughter of the late Charles Albert & Anna Elizabeth Herron Swinderman.

Martha was an avid bowler. She enjoyed tending to her garden and was a fine cook. She also loved spending time with her late husband, Samuel W. Roser, who died October 16, 1988, as the two of them were active attending dances and other functions of area clubs such as the Moose, Elks and VFW.

She is survived by a brother, Walter Swinderman of Dover and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, Martha was preceded in death by a brother, Don Swinderman and a sister, Divina Dreher.

Funeral services will be held Monday, July 28, at 12:00 noon in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home, Dover. Interment will be in the Ridgecrest Memory Gardens. Friends may call in the funeral home on Monday one hour prior to services.
