Martha Warnes Wilhelm

Martha Warnes Wilhelm, 92, formerly of Canton died Wednesday, June 1, 2011 in the Hennis Care Centre at Dover.

Martha graduated from Strasburg High in 1936 and began her career at the Tuscarawas County Court House and retired from the Golden Circle Circle Credit Union in Canton.

Born October 22, 1918 in Sugarcreek she was a daughter of the late Clarence and Martha Syler Warnes. In addition to her parents, Martha was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert Wilhelm; three sisters, Blanche Warnes Davies, Ann Warnes Peales and Wanda "Pete" Warnes Douthitt and her brother, Luke Warnes.

She is survived by many nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, June 4, 2011 at 12:30 pm in the Grandview Union Cemetery at Strasburg with Pastor David Carrick officiating. The Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at Strasburg are handing arrangements.
