Mary A. Tornabene

Mary Ann Tornabene, 83, of Massillon and formerly of New Philadelphia died Sunday, April 28, 2002 in the Massillon Community Hospital following a brief illness.

Born October 7, 1918 in Dennison, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Tony and Mary Alfano Forte.

Mary was a member of the St. Joseph�(TM)s Catholic Church at Dover.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel F. Tornabene who died December 26, 1998.

She is survived by two sons Frank (Molly) Tornabene of Canton and Joe (Kathy) Tornabene of Jacksonville, Mississippi; one daughter, Nancy (Tony) Fabiano of Somerville, New Jersey.

Two sisters Narde Page of Dennison and Rose of Las Vegas, Nevada along with ten grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Joe and Jim Forte and two sisters, Pearl Toomey and Novea.

A funeral mass will be held Thursday at 10:30 am in the St. Joseph�(TM)s Catholic Church in Dover with Fr. William Arnold officiating. Interment will be in the Calvary Cemetery at Dover. Friends may call at the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home in Dover on Wednesday from 5-8 pm where Christian Wake services will be held Wed. at 7:30 pm.
