Mary A. Totten

Mary A. Totten, 85, of Venice, Florida and a former Dover resident died Tuesday, December 21, 1999 in her home. She volunteered her time for many years at Union Hospital. Born October 15, 1914 at Chatham N.B. Canada, she was a daughter of the late Fred & Elizabeth Veneau Wilt. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star at Dover. She had also been of St. Marks Episcopal Church at Venice as well as the Trinity Episcopal Church at New Philadelphia. Mary was preceded in death by her husband Carl Totten who died August 28, 1989. Survivors include: 2 daughters; Betty Hoffman of Venice, FL, and Carol Bower of New Philadelphia, brothers and sisters, 7 grandchildren & 2 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, Mary was preceded in death by: brothers and sisters, a daughter, and one grandchild. Funeral Services will be held Friday, December 24, at 1:30pm with Rev. Constance D. Harris officiating. Interment will be in the Dover Burial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 5-8pm, with Eastern Star services being held at 4:30pm.
