Mary A. Van Lehn, 88, died Monday morning (April 4, 2005) at Park Village, Dover, Ohio, where she resided for the past 7 years. She was born November 21, 1916 in Dover, Ohio, to Guido and Rose Fondriest Recla. She retired from the Huntington Bank in 1982. She enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking, and playing bridge. She was a member of St. Joseph�(TM)s Catholic Church.
Surviving are one son, W. James (Barbara) Van Lehn, and one daughter, Mary Jo (David) Blickensderfer, four grandchildren, Mathew (Colleen) Blickensderfer, of McKinney, Texas, Elizabeth (Gregory) Hudson, of Delaware, Ohio, Amanda Blickensderfer of Cincinnati, Ohio, and fiancé, Brandon Andreasen, and Jennifer Blickensderfer of Bloomington, Indiana, four great grandchildren, Liam Blickensderfer, Katherine Hudson, Nicholas Hudson, and Abagail Hudson, one brother, Norman (Kay) Recla of Livonia, Michigan, one sister, Della (Harry) Taylor of Holiday, Florida, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; by her husband, Walter, in 1950, two brothers, Carl Recla, and Guy Recla, and two sisters, Pauline Janik and Erma Seikel.
Friends may call in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory, Dover on Friday, April 8, from 5 to 9 p.m. Fr. William Arnold will celebrate a funeral mass on Saturday at 2:30p.m. in Dover�(TM)s St. Joseph�(TM)s Catholic Church. Interment will be in the Calvary Cemetery at New Philadelphia Ohio. Following the burial family and friends are invited to a reception in the Toland-Herzig Monarch Center, 831 Boulevard, Dover.
