Mary E. Harig

Mary E. Harig, 84, of New Philadelphia died Saturday, July 28, 2007 at Schoenbrunn Healthcare Center.

Born November 9, 1922 in Dennison, she was a daughter of the late Lemoin and Dorabelle Cox Collar. In addition to her parents, Mary was also preceded in death by her husband, Paul L. Harig who died on August 9, 1984; son, Paul Harig; brother, Raymond Collar; sister, Florence Yost and five grandchildren.

She attended both the Roxford United Methodist Church and the Church of the Living God in New Philadelphia.

A loving mother and grandmother, Mary will be sadly missed by her sons, Glen Harig of California and Carl (Marsha) Harig of Uhrichsville; daughters, Marie (Ralph) Festi of Dover and Esther (Okey) Beam of New Philadelphia; brothers, Leroy Collar of Indiana and John Collar of Canton; 11 grandchildren, six great grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 2, 2007 at 1:00 pm in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Homes and Crematory at Dover with Rev. Bob Jones officiating. Interment will be at the Roxford Church Cemetery. Friends can call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 6-8 pm.
