Mary E. Kollar

Mary E. Kollar, 82, of the Park Village Health Care Center and formerly of New Philadelphia, Ohio died Sunday, June 24, 2001 in Union Hospital following a brief illness.

She was a retired employee of US Ceramic Tile at East Sparta where she worked for 20 years.

Born August 18, 1918 in Zoarville, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Mallory and Linnie Kinsey Hall.

Mary was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in New Philadelphia and was formerly a 40 yr. Member of the First Baptist Church in New Philadelphia.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John W. “Jack” Kollar who died September 6, 2000.

Mary is survived by her daughter and son in law Helen and Bob Thompson of Dover along with four grandchildren Pamela Hicks, Michael Kollar, R. Troy Thompson, and Robin Miller and nine great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one son, Donald Eugene Kollar, three brothers and two sisters.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday at 2 PM in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home at Dover with Rev. Donald Snow officiating. A reception will follow in the Toland-Herzig Monarch Center. Interment will be in the Dover Burial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday from noon until 2 pm.
