Mary E. Snyder

Mary E. Snyder, 93, of Navarre passed away on Friday, November 19, 2021 in the Hennis Care Centre at Bolivar.

She was born on March 2, 1928 in Canton and was a daughter of the late John and Mary Ratu Screidon. Mary was also preceded in death by her sisters, Victoria Makis, Irene Hora; and a brother, John Tatu.

She retired from the unemployment office in Canton after 26 years of service. In her spare time she enjoyed cooking and collecting toy clowns.

Mary is survived by her husband of 63 years, Edward H. Snyder whom she married on March 20, 1958; sons, Mark (Christie) Snyder of Canton, Michael Snyder of Orrville, Bill (Margaret) Sevier of New Philadelphia; five grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 27th starting at 11:00 am in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at Dover with Pastor David Hobbs officiating. Interment will be at the Dover Burial Park. The family will be greeting friends one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
