Mary Frances (Eiler) Prince, 77, a longtime resident of W. 9th St., Dover, Ohio died Friday, February 13, 2004 at Union Hospital following complications from a courageous battle with cancer.
She managed the former Prince Refreshment Stand located near the Warther Museum during the 60�(TM)s and 70�(TM)s.
Born July 14, 1926 in Dover, she was the daughter of the late Henry J. and Anna E. Obermiller Eiler.
She was a member of the St. Joseph�(TM)s Catholic Church in Dover. She lived her life for her children and grandchildren and was a loving caregiver for her late husband, Dean E. Prince during his long illness. He died May 15, 1996. She also loved the outdoors and enjoyed flower gardening.
She is survived by five children Kenneth (Fran) Prince of Carmel, Indiana, Ron (Debbie) Prince of Beach City, Tim Prince of Columbus, Teresa Prince of New Philadelphia and Tom Prince of Columbus. Four grandchildren Brooke and Drew Prince both of Carmel, Indiana and Lindsey and Monica Prince both of Beach City; one sister, Dorothy H. Soulsby of Dover and her four cats.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Norman Eiler and two sisters, Rosemarie Eiler and Monie Lou Gibbs.
A Rite of Christian Burial will take place Monday, February 16, 2004 at 2 pm in the St. Joseph�(TM)s Catholic Church at Dover with Fr. William Arnold officiating. Interment will be in the Calvary Cemetery at Dover. A reception will follow in the Toland-Herzig Monarch Center. Friends may call at the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home in New Philadelphia on Sunday from 2-5 pm. A Christian Wake service will be held Sunday at 4:45 pm.
