Mary H. Bailey

Mary H. “Libby” Bailey, 71, of Beach City died Saturday, October 22, 2005 at Aultman Hospital following a brief illness.

She retired from Henry Heating and Cooling in Dover after 14 years of service.

Born February 2, 1934 in Lester, West Virginia she was a daughter of the late Kermit and Hazel Martin Horton.

Libby was an animal lover; she enjoyed caring for her pets, which included birds, cats and dogs.

Libby is survived by her husband of 54 years, Ernest “Clyde” Bailey Sr. whom she married on October 22, 1951.

She is also survived by two daughters; Cindy (Jim) Davidson of Las Vegas, Nevada and Lisa (Steve) Sprouse of Tiskilwa, Illinois; son, Ernest C. (Debra) Bailey Jr. of Dallas, Texas; two brothers, Benjamin (Frances) Horton of Barbersville, West Virginia and Delford (Gertrude) Horton of Hawaii; sister, Noel (Jim) Walton of Lester, West Virginia; seven grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 26, 2005 at 1:30 pm in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Homes and Crematory in Strasburg. Interment will be at the Grandview Union Cemetery in Strasburg.
