Mary K. Ellwood

Mary K. Ellwood, 78, of New Philadelphia, died Thursday, July 6, 2006 in the Schoenbrunn Health Care Center.

Born January 31, 1928, at New Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Jesse Christian and Helen Ulrich Sherer.

She retired from the Park Village Health Care where she had worked as a housekeeper and was a member of the Jerusalem Church.

Her husband, Max Ray Ellwood, died June 15, 1987.

Surviving family members include: daughters, Margaret Sanders and Linda (Jerry) Nation both of New Philadelphia; a brother, Jesse (Mary) Sherer of Stone Creek; sister, Betty Wigfield of Dover; 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

The Rev. Dr. Terry Downin will conduct a funeral service that celebrates Mary�(TM)s life on Monday, July 10, at 11:00 a.m. in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia. Burial will be in the Jerusalem Church Cemetery. Following the burial, a reception will be held in the Toland-Herzig Monarch Center. Friends may call in the funeral home on Sunday from 2-4 or one hour prior to services.
