Mary L. Baker, 75, of Dover, died Sunday, October 19, 2003 in Union Hospital.
She retired in 1990 from the Furon Company of Columbia after 18 years of service.
Born September 21, 1928 at Baltic, she was the daughter of the late Oscar V. and Nellie Snyder Reidenbach.
Mary was a devoted member of the Strasburg United Methodist Church where she had been a member of the choir. She was an avid sports fan who enjoyed being outdoors �" especially fishing, and rooting for her beloved Dover Tornadoes.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Richard A. Baker, whom she wed on May 15, 1948.
Other survivors include: two daughters; Carolyn (Terry) Jones of Dover and Linda (Philip) Dreher of Dover, a son; Richard and Lavan Baker of Dover, five brothers; Robert (Cherolene) Reidenbach of Millersburg, Kenneth Reidenbach of Baltic, Glen (Karen) Reidenbach of Sugarcreek, Paul (Harlene) Reidenbach of Newark and Dean Reidenbach of Baltic, four sisters; Erma Zehnder of Strasburg, Norma (Richard) Meyer of Navarre, Carol (Dean) Burrell of Strasburg and Cherolene Huntington of Coshocton, five grandchildren Stacy Morris, Matthew Baker, Wesley Baker, Jeremy Dreher and Joshua Dreher.
A service celebrating Mary�(TM)s life will be held Wednesday, October 22 at 11:00 a.m. in the Strasburg United Methodist Church with Rev. Steven Court and Rev Howard Fox officiating. Interment will be in the Dover Burial Park.
Friends may call in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home, Dover on Tuesday from 6-9 p.m. and one hour prior to services at the church on Wednesday.
