Mary L. Kreisher, 86, daughter of Lawrence and Lavinia “Lovina” (Hershberger) Gerber, was born in Walnut Creek, Ohio on March 6, 1921. She went to be with the Lord on April 22, 2007 while residing at Hennis Care Center in Dover, Ohio.
On August 3, 1941 she married Robert C. Kreisher, the former co-owner/pharmacist of Kreisher Drug Store in Dover, who preceded her in death on October 30, 1978.
Mary was a graduate of Surgarcreek-Shaneville High School and Goshen College, a former realty broker and owner of Dove realty, a spiritual minister of Christ, and a member of the Berlin Christian Fellowship and Foursquare Gospel Church in Dover.
She is survived by, a brother; Rev. Dr. Ralph (Elinor) Gerber of Arizona; three daughters, Mary Beth Brooks, Betsy Jo (Ken) Grissom, and Bev Ann (David) Brookshire all of Canton; six grandchildren, Russell Quatrano of Florida, Lee (Ashley) Kreisher of Dover, Ginnett (James) Codington of Canton, Stacy (James) Raber of Dover, Timothy Kreisher of Dover, Brittany Forman of New Philadelphia and eleven great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were four brothers, Harold, Ross, Edward, Lawrence Jr. Gerber; a sister, Hallie Gerber; a foster sister Helen; two sons, Bradley and Ben Kreisher and a grandson, Guy.
A funeral service will be held at the Foursquare Gospel Church in Dover on Saturday, April 28, 2007 at 2:00 pm with Pastor Dave Wing officiating. Mary will be buried at Dover Burial Park. Following the funeral, friends are invited to gather for a meal at the church. Friends may call to the Toland Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory in Dover on Friday, April 27, 2007 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm.
