Mary L. Stocker, 85, of Dover, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 5, 2006, while working in her flower garden, something she enjoyed doing.
Born Dec. 13, 1920, in Dover, Mary was a daughter of the late John Sr. and Rosa Vezza Amistadi. She was a loving wife, sister and aunt. In addition to gardening, Mary liked feeding the birds and caring for stray animals. She was a member of the Buckeye State Sheriff�(TM)s Association of Columbus.
Besides her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband of thirty-eight years, Carl W. Stocker, on Mar. 10, 1988, and by four brothers, Raymond Sr., John Jr., Paul and George Amistadi. Survivors include a sister, Angie Rall of Chicago, IL; two brothers, Sam Amistadi of Strasburg, and Adam Amistadi of Dover; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, Sept. 9, at 10 a.m., in Dover Burial Park. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements are in the care of the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory, Dover.
