Mary M. Packer

Mary M. Packer, 93, formerly of E. 14th St., Dover, Ohio died Sunday, April 1, 2007 in the Hennis Care Centre at Dover following a brief illness.

Mary was a dental and medical assistant for the late Dr. O.K. Brown and Dr. H.E. Reed.

Born March 21, 1914 in Bowerston, she was the daughter of the late William and Lillian (Betts) Milhorn. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Packer who died April 25, 1960 and a brother.

Mary was a member of St. John�(TM)s United Church of Christ in Dover. She was a 1932 graduate of Dennison High School. She spent hours upon hours reading and also enjoyed sewing.

She is survived by five children: W. Donald (Bonnie) Packer of Dover, G. Dale (Joy) Packer of Lexington, Kentucky, Ann (Chuck) Boyd of Jeffersonville, Indiana, M. Dean Packer of Canton and Jane (Tom) Maurer of North Canton along with eight grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.

Funeral services celebrating Mary�(TM)s life will be held Wednesday, April 4, 2007 at 11am in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory in Dover with Rev. Michael Lowry officiating. Interment will be in the Dover Burial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 6-8pm.
