Mary Needs, 86, of 222 W. 22nd St. Dover, died Thursday, June 22, 2000 in the Hennis Care Centre at Dover.

Born February 25, 1914 at Dover, she was daughter of the late Harvey & Emma Manges Brewer.

She was a member of the First Moravian Church at Dover and was active in its Women's Fellowship. She was also a member of the Order of Eastern Star in New Philadelphia.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband, John C. Needs, who died September 28, 1998.

Survivors include:
A daughter, Beverly & Larry Sears of New Philadelphia
A son, Bill & Sara Needs of Marietta, Georgia
Sister, Edith & John Paulus of Dover
3 grandchildren, Kenney Sears, Roger Sears & Lorna Sears Ross
5 great grandchildren

In addition to her parents and husband, Mary was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Walter, Homer & Edgar Brewer and a sister, Verna Marshall.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, August 17, at 7pm in First Moravian Church at Dover with Rev. Allen Bergmann officiating. Those unable to attend may sign the online register book for Mary by visiting the ''online obituaries'' link on our website at www.tolandherzig.com.

Memorial contributions may be made to the First Moravian Church at Dover, Hospice of Tuscarawas County, or to the charity of the donor's choice.
