Mary I. Prince, 92, passed away on November 16, 2024, at Park Village Health Care Center in Dover, Ohio.
She was born on August 1, 1932, in Dover. She was the daughter of the late Vern and Mamie (Kurtz) McKittrick.
Mary dedicated her life to her career and her family. She attended Dover High School, where she met her husband of 68 years, Richard Prince. Richard preceded her in death on April 17, 2017. She was also preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.
Mary worked diligently as an office manager at Commercial Honing for over 25 years, earning the respect and admiration of her colleagues and those she served. She was an active member of the First Moravian Church in Dover, where she enjoyed being involved in the women's group.
She was deeply connected to her family, often finding joy in sharing time and creating memories with her grandchildren, who were her pride and joy.
In her leisure time, Mary found happiness while camping with family and friends at Atwood Lake, embracing the beauty of nature and the warmth of companionship.
She leaves behind her two sons; Monte (Valerie) Prince of Tewksbury, NJ, and Richard (Polly) Prince of Dover; her grandchildren, Heather (Andy) Roecker, Jamie (Jong) Kim, Jonathan Prince, Justin (Amanda) Prince, and Christian Prince; four great-grandchildren, Jett Kim, Xavier and Viggo Roecker, and Charlotte Prince, along with several nieces and nephews.
