Mary T. Wardell

Mary T. Wardell, 55, of Baltic died Saturday, November 23, 2002 at Union Hospital following an extended illness.

She, along with her husband, owned and operated the Brooklyn Grill in Dover.

Born July 16, 1947 in Dover she was a daughter of the late John and Mary Butts Griffin.

She enjoyed swimming.

Mary is survived by her husband Frank Wardell with whom she celebrated 35 years of marriage on January 28, 2002.

She is also survived by a son: Daniel Wardell of the home.

In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her son John Wardell.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 27, 2002 at 11:00 am in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home at Dover with Rev. Glen Shedlock officiating. Interment will be at Ridgecrest Memory Gardens. Friends can call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 3-5 & 7-9 pm.
