Maryann Arthurs

Mary Ann Arthurs, 78 of Sugarcreek died Tuesday, April 23, 2013 in the loving home she shared with her daughter and son in law, Kimberly and Johnny Baldwin.

Born September 12, 1934 in New Philadelphia, Ohio she was a daughter of the late Ron and Hazel Swinderman Hilton. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Bill Arthurs on February 20, 1998.

Mary Ann was a graduate of New Philadelphia High School and following her graduation she married the love of her life Bill Arthurs where she started her journey to being a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

She is survived by her children, Mike (Pam) Arthurs of Oklahoma and their three children, Katie, David and Mike Jr., Chris (Jaime) Arthurs of Dover and his two children, Khristen and Kaylee Arthurs, Patricia Anderson of New Philadelphia and her three children and Kimberly (Johnny) Baldwin of Sugarcreek and their two children Amber Jo (Jeremy) Viertlbeck and Abbey Janine Baldwin and her longtime boyfriend, Cory Price; beloved brother, Ron Hilton Jr. of Dover; many great grandchildren including Jeremy Joseph Viertlbeck who arrived on March 20, 2013 to light up her life. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

A special thank you to Kaylee Arthurs for lighting up grandma's life in her final days, and to Community Hospice for their wonderful care. Also, much love to Mary Masserelli (mother of Johnny Baldwin) for all of your help and support.

Per Mary Ann's wishes cremation will take place. There will be no service or calling hours. The Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at Dover is handling arrangements.
