Max F. Ball, 81, of New Philadelphia died Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at his home surrounded by his family.
Born February 12, 1936 in Dover he was a son of the late Russell and Dorothy Fishel Ball.
Max retired from the New Philadelphia Waste Water Treatment Plant after 31 years of service. He proudly served his country with the United States Army and loved to golf and fish in his spare time.
A wonderful and loving husband, father and grandfather, Max will be sadly missed by his wife of 58 years, Anna Mary Williams Ball, whom he married on May 16, 1959; children, Mark (Sue) Ball, Lori (Brad) Paull both of New Philadelphia, Dave (Lynde) Ball of Dover; sister, Carolyn Garrett of New Philadelphia; grandchildren, Brittany, Chastidy, Allison, Tristan, Nick and seven great grandchildren.
Friends may call in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at Dover on Saturday, June 10th from 1-2 pm. Funeral services start at 2:00 pm with Pastor Andy McClung officiating.
