Maxine E. Dumont

Maxine E. (Ponti) Dumont, 90, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 16, 2007 at the New Dawn Health Care Center, Dover.

She was the daughter of the late John and Lena (Bertoni) Ponti.

A graduate of St. Joseph�(TM)s High School, Dover, she trained as a cosmetologist. She was employed by the Hoover Company and was a member of St. Paul�(TM)s Catholic Church in North Canton.

Maxine was preceded in death by her husband, Julean “Speed” Dumont. Both had been active in the North Canton Senior Center.

She is survived by: her only sister, Lucille Fete of Dover; nieces, Jeri Middaugh of Sugarcreek, Judith George and Jacque Fete; and nephews, Joseph, Jeffrey and Jonathan Fete.

Fr. William Arnold will officiate a funeral mass that celebrates Maxine�(TM)s life on Wednesday, December 19, at 10:00 a.m. in the St. Joseph Catholic Church, Dover. Interment will follow in the Calvary Cemetery at Dover. Friends may call in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory, Dover on Tuesday from 2-5 p.m. Christian Wake services will be Tuesday at 4:45 p.m.
