Maxine E. Newton, 82, of Dover died Saturday, January 14, 2006 at New Dawn Health Care Center following an extended illness.
Born May 9, 1923 in Dover she was the daughter of the late Herbert and Elizabeth Schwarm Stucky.
She was a member of St. John�(TM)s United Church of Christ in Dover.
Maxine is survived by her husband, Clarence Newton, with whom she celebrated 62 years of marriage on October 11, 2005.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, January 18, 2006 at 11:00 am in the Dover Burial Park. There are no calling hours. The Toland-Herzig Funeral Homes and Crematory in Dover are handling arrangements.
