Maxine Gardner

Maxine Gardner, 78, of Washington St., Dover, died Wednesday, June 14, 2000 in Union Hospital.

Born December 14, 1921 at Waynesboro, TN, she was a daughter of the late Luther & Mandy May Long Pulley.

She was a member of the both the Dover VFW & Dover Eagles Auxiliaries.

Maxine was preceded in death by her husband, Robert C. Gardner, who passed away November 15, 1995.

Survivors include:

2 sons Jerry Walker & Donald Walker of Dover
4 daughters Mary Walker of Dover
Annie (James) Pulley of Dover
Jewell Skelton of Dover
Weyma (Mario) Gonzalez of Fayetteville, NC
Sister Annie Lou York of Apple Creek
11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren

In addition to her parents and husband, Maxine was preceded in death by 4 brothers and 2 sisters.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 17, at 1:30pm in Toland-Herzig Funeral Home at Dover with Pastor Ed Scaglione officiating. Interment will be in the Dover Burial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9pm.
