Maxine Idella Craig Ridenbaugh

Maxine Idella Craig Ridenbaugh, 93, of Dover died Saturday, October 25, 2008 in Park Village Health Care Center after an extended illness.

Born September 2, 1915, in Dover, she was the daughter of the late Daniel and Idella Baker Peacock.

She graduated from Dover High School in 1934 and soon married her first husband, Carl Casey Craig, who preceded her in death in 1968. Later, she married Dale Ridenbaugh who died in 1986.

Maxine retired from the former I.F. Manufacturing Company in New Philadelphia after 20 years of employment.

She was a member of the St. John's United Church of Christ in Dover, where she was active with its Women's Guild and Joannah Circle. She also was a member of the Dover Literary Club and the Order of the Eastern Star in Dover. Maxine cherished her time spent with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

She is survived by her two sons; Gary (wife, Anita) Craig, and Jan (wife, Kathy) Craig both of Dover, three grandchildren; John Craig, Rich (wife, Andrea) Craig and Carrie (husband, Rob) Boyd, as well as seven great grandchildren.

In addition to her two husbands, and parents, her brother, Thurman Peacock, precedes her in death.

A graveside service will take place at Dover Burial Park in Dover on Tuesday, October 28, 2008 at 11:00 am with Rev. Michael Lowry officiating.
