Maxine J. Mason Martin

Maxine J. Mason Martin, 73, of Dover died Thursday, May 19, 2016 in the Hennis Care Centre.

Born February 19, 1943 in Dover she was a daughter of the late Curtis and Mildred Brooks Mason. Maxine was a 1961 graduate of New Philadelphia High School and also graduated from the College of Wooster with a Business Degree. She enjoyed reading murder mysteries, shopping, gardening and spending the month of February in Florida with her sister.

Maxine is survived by her daughter, Cara Jane Martin of Dover; sister, Linda (Sam) Fausto of Florida and companion, Jim Massarelli of New Philadelphia.

Cremation has been entrusted to the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at Dover. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, June 1 at noon in the Evergreen Burial Park at New Philadelphia with Rev. Brian Flood officiating.
