Michael Aubrey Kinch
March 7, 1947 June 7, 2008
Having made his peace and seen to the needs of his loved ones, Michael Aubrey Kinch gracefully and peacefully released his hold on this world, and walked into the embrace of his Lord. Mike was at home, surrounded by love, and in the presence of his family when he succumbed to the effects of a brief illness. He was 61.
Mike has lived as a musician, had his own businesses and most recently contributed to the day-to-day operations of a string of local McDonald's restaurants. Mike's greatest accomplishments however, were that he touched so many lives and reached many a milestone along his way. He was capable of great passion and knew well the cycle of joy and pain. He learned his lessons the hard way then later shared willingly his insights to lessen the burden of others. He loved to laugh a hearty laugh, to revel in his music, to dance, dance, dance, to explore the hidden treasures down the road. He found endless comfort in nature's wonders, found strength and gladness in his faith and rediscovered himself in the stillness of his meditation. He believed in second chances, made a friend in every hamlet, played a maverick's hand of poker and always had a surprise or two up his sleeve.
Mike will be watching over his father, Thurman Lewis (Curly) Kinch; children, Sean, Nichola and Colleen Kinch; grandchild, Rosa Wright; siblings, Shannon Foby, Heather Kinch, Maueve Heater and Christopher Kinch; in-laws, Paul Foby, Brian Heater, Bob Wright and Celesd F.
