Michael Donald Dipiero

Michael Donald DiPiero, 64, of New Philadelphia passed away at his home on Saturday, July 13, 2013 following an extended illness.

Born on December 3, 1948 in Millersburg, he was the son of the late Duilio and Ruth (Alliger) DiPiero. He is also preceded in death by his brother, Dante DiPiero.

He graduated from Dover High School in the class of 1966. He later attended Kent State University Tuscarawas Campus. On June 25, 1983, he married the love of his life, Kim S. Bush, who preceded him in death on October 10, 2009.

Michael was a retired carpenter. He enjoyed wine making, and assembling model railroads. He also loved jazz music and played the clarinet for many years.

He will be sadly missed by his three daughters; Ashleigh DiPiero of Oakhurst, California, Mackenzie DiPiero of New Philadelphia, and Heather Livingston from Coarsegold California; along with two granddaughters; Brooke and Paige Gerber of Coarsegold, California.

Cremation has been entrusted to the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory in New Philadelphia. A memorial celebration will be held at the Toland-Herzig Monarch Center on Saturday, July 27, 2013 from 6-8 pm. A brief ceremony will take place at 6:30 pm with Pastor Dode Overton officiating.
