Michael "Mike" Daley

Michael “Mike” Stephen Daley, 71, of New Philadelphia was reunited with the love of his life on Friday, September 24, 2021, after a period of declining health.

Born July 19, 1950, in Union Hospital in Dover, he was the son of the late William C. Daley and Rose Marie who survive.

Prior to his graduation with the class of 1970 from New Philadelphia High School; Mike began what would become his life-long career at Buehler’s in New Philadelphia.

On August 11, 1990, he married the former Patricia Briggs in Sacred Heart Parish.

Mike was a devoted father and grandfather who enjoyed the occasional popsicle with his “Pooh Bear,” Annabel, and cuddles with James.

Survivors include his daughters; Wendy of Dover, Michelle (Charlie), and Theresa (Jeremy) of Canton; his grandchildren, Autumn of Mineral City, Annabel, Harlee, and Brock of Canton; and his great-grandson, James also of Mineral City; his mother, Rose Marie; and his brother, Richard of New Philadelphia also survive.

Mike is preceded in death by his wife, Patricia; his father, William, and several aunts and uncles.
